Designs
about my website (The Mars Mission Overview):
Design pair 1:
Design 1:
Design 2:
Evaluation
between designs 1 and 2:
I prefer design 2 rather than design 1 due to the following:
·
Has an appealing heading written in Niconne font.
·
Has links to social websites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
·
Has hyperlinks. They are linked to websites that are
related to the topic of space exploration.
·
Has a brown header which symbolizes the comfort and
reliability of this website.
·
Has two pictures.

Design 4:
Evaluation
between designs 3 and 4:
I prefer design 4 rather than design 3 due to the following:
·
The spaceship icon has a fly-in animation and is
linked to Mars One website. They can go to this website if they want to join in
for the permanent human settlement mission on Mars in 2026.
·
It also has a video which will summarize the
information about the Mars Mission.
·
Has a strip background which is an ‘active state’ .
·
Gif images and pictures with different frame designs.

Design 6:
Evaluation
between designs 5 and 6:
I prefer design 5 rather than design 6 due to the following:
·
Has a carousel which is a plugin for cycling through
elements. It will show the steps NASA will take in terraforming Mars.
·
An accordion which is a stacked list of items. When
you click an item, a page will dropdown.
·
Also, it has a gif image.

Flowchart
(steps I will do to make my website at Wix):
Test Plan:
- Gif images and pictures: When I go into preview mode, then the gif image and picture should appear. The gif image must be in an active state.
- Carousels: It must scroll horizontally and must contain written text on the image.
- Accordion: When I click an item, a page must dropdown.
- Live page and strip backgrounds: The background image must be live and a strip background should appear.
- Pagination and Pagers. When I click a number from the tab, a page must appear directly. In addition, when I click ‘Previous’ or ‘Next’ buttons, a page must appear.
- Dynamic tabs: When I click a tab, a dropdown page must appear.
- Buttons and hyperlinks: When I click the button, it must take me to a specific social or informative website link.
- Background music: When I click the icon, the music must start. When I click the icon again, the music should stop.
